Question 1

Is the BIMI analyzer free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Analyzing a domain's BIMI record, logo and certificate is free and doesn't require an account or email address.

Question 2

What does the BIMI analyzer check?

Accepted Answer

It checks whether a BIMI record is published, whether the referenced logo is reachable, square, and free of forbidden SVG content (scripts, raster embeds, external references), whether a VMC/CMC certificate is present, and whether the domain's DMARC policy is enforced strongly enough for mailbox providers to honor BIMI.

Question 3

Why won't my logo show up even though BIMI is configured?

Accepted Answer

The most common reasons are a DMARC policy that isn't enforced (p=none instead of p=quarantine or p=reject), a missing VMC/CMC certificate, or an SVG logo that doesn't conform to the required Tiny Portable/Secure profile. Most major mailbox providers, including Gmail and Yahoo, require a valid certificate before they'll display the logo.
